CSIR-Central Road Research Institute (CSIR-CRRI) has partnered with VMRDA and GVMC to provide scientific and technical support for improving road infrastructure and safety in Visakhapatnam. The collaboration will cover road upgradation, erosion studies, pedestrian facilities, road safety audits, and modern road management through official MoAs/MoUs. A CSIR-CRRI delegation also conducted a preliminary survey of selected road stretches in the city following a high-level meeting convened by Visakhapatnam MP Shri M. Bharath Garu.
