The National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) has issued a notice to the Punjab Government regarding the death of Gulzar Singh from Sangrur district. The NCSC ordered an inquiry under Article 338 of the Constitution and directed the Chief Secretary and DGP of Punjab to submit a factual and action-taken report within five days.
