Exam City / District Details
- .: a) The PwBD persons having less than 40% disability (covered under the definition of Section 2(s) of the RPWD Act, 2016 but not covered under the definition of Section 2(r) of the said Act) and having difficulty in writing can also avail the assistance of scribe for writing answers on their behalf after producing the certificate as per Annexure-G and submission of letter of undertaking as per Annexure-G(a) at the examination centre. b) In case of persons with benchmark disabilities in the category of Blindness, Locomotor Disability (Both Arm affected - BA) and Cerebral Palsy, the facility of scribe shall be given, if so desired by the person.
- Candidates eligible for scribe as above and wish to avail the scribe facility must opt for scribe in their online application and submit undertaking in Annexure-H.
- Any person engaged as a scribe by a scribe-eligible must register on the RRC portal.
- Upon successful registration an OTR number will be permitted to offer their services as Scribe.
- Page 7 of 43 (iii) A separate e-call letter will be issued to the Scribe.
- The scribe must carry the original and valid ID proof used at the time of registration on the day of the examination.
- The educational qualification of the candidate’s own scribe should be one step below the qualification of the candidate taking the examination.
Preparation Tips
- Practice CBT format exams; duration and question count vary by post (90-120 minutes, 100-150 questions).
- Prepare for additional tests: CBAT for Assistant Loco Pilot and Station Master; CBTST for Junior Clerk cum Typist.
