Age Limit
- for reserve category candidates will be applicable as per the Uttar Pradesh (UP) Government rules. Application form is available at the Institute website (http://www.gims.ac.in) Completed form should be sent, with copies of proofs of education/academic qualifications, experience, testimonials, research publications etc, as indicated therein, along with an application fee via online of Rs 1180 (Rupees one thousand one hundred eighty only) in favour of “The Director, Government Institute of Medical Sciences”, payable at Greater Noida, UP (India). Director of the Institute reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason.
- All disputes will be subjected to the jurisdiction of the Hon’ ble High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, UP. Application needs to be sent by speed post/registered post only.
- The envelope must be super scribed as ‘Application for faculty position’ and addressed to the Director, Government Institute of Medical Sciences, Kasna, Greater Noida-201310, UP (India).
- Applications by hand will not be entertained. The deadline for submission of the online completed applications is 18/09/2026 till 05:00PM and Last date for receipt of printout of application form is 03/10/2026 till 5:00 pm.

Selection Process

Screening/shortlisting of applications based on the essential academic qualification and experience prescribed for each post as per NMC Guidelines. Shortlisted candidates are called for a Personal
Interview at GIMS, Greater Noida. Candidates who have applied in advance may submit their No Objection Certificate (NOC)/forwarding letter from their current employer up to the date of the interview. The Director, GIMS reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason. Exact interview date, venue, and further stages (if any) are not specified in the official notification and will be communicated to shortlisted candidates.
Salary / Pay Scale
Professor: ₹2,20,000/-; Associate Professor: ₹1,60,000/-; Assistant Professor: ₹1,20,000/-
