Age Limit

- On successful payment, e- acknowledgement with details of payment will be displayed on the screen, which the candidate may download for future reference.
Selection Process
Meeting the minimum qualification does not automatically qualify a candidate for interview - NRSC reserves the right to screen applications and fix additional shortlisting criteria as necessary.
Screened-in/shortlisted candidates are called for an interview before a Selection Committee; only shortlisted candidates are contacted, and call letters are sent by email only.

How to Apply
- 1 Candidates intending to apply for more than one post must submit a separate online application for each post.
- 2 Incomplete applications (without photograph, signature, mark-sheets, caste/category certificate, or date-of-birth proof) will be rejected outright.
- 3 In case of multiple applications for the same post, only the latest application submitted before the closing date will be considered.
- 4 Outstation candidates called for interview will be paid sleeper-class railway fare or non-AC bus fare (whichever is less) by the shortest route, on production of tickets - only candidates permitted to interview after document verification are eligible for this travel allowance.
- 5 Selected JRFs are encouraged to register for a PhD from a recognised university on a relevant research topic, though this may require additional time beyond the fellowship tenure.
- 6 Candidates with degrees from foreign universities must produce an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.
- 7 Only Indian nationals may apply, and canvassing in any form will disqualify a candidate.
- 8 In case of any ambiguity between the Hindi and English versions of the notification, the English version prevails.
- 9 Any corrigendum related to eligibility requirements or number of posts will be notified only on the NRSC website, not in newspapers.
- 10 Candidates are advised to apply well in advance of the closing date, and to be alert to fraudulent websites, agents, or touts falsely claiming to help secure a job at NRSC/ISRO - NRSC never appoints agents or coaching centres for this purpose, and selection is purely merit-based.
