Age Limit

• shall be calculated on the basis of the length of military service, subject to the condition that the total age after such relaxation shall not exceed 03 years over and above the upper age limit as on 01.01.2026. vii) The upper age limit for widows, divorcees and certain other categories of married women as per instructions issued by the Government of Punjab vide letter No.
• 1/50/83-SPP (1368)/3454 dated 23.04.1984 will be relaxed up to 40 years. viii) The Maximum age relaxation shall be up to 45 years for regular/contractual in-service candidates working in Government/Semi-Government Departments/State Universities/ Government Boards and Corporations.
• Age relaxation for in-service candidates shall only be admissible to those candidates whose applications are received through proper channel.
• Instructions regarding reservation: i) Reservation benefits shall be available only to residents of Punjab, as per Punjab Government rules. ii) Category Certificate for claiming the benefit of reservation, must be as per Punjab Government Instructions. iii) To claim the benefit of reservation, the candidate must submit the recent Domicile/ Residence Certificate.
• This certificate is mandatory for all candidates of each category.
• This certificate must not be older than 5 years under any circumstance as on last date of application submission.

• 1 Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate application forms with separate fee and enclosures for each post.
• 2 All academic credentials must be from a recognized Board/University/Institution.
• 3 All required certificates/documents must have been issued on or before the last date of application submission.

• 10 Application forms without prescribed fee, documents, photographs or signatures will be treated as incomplete and rejected.
• 11 No correction or addition of documents will be entertained after the last date of submission.
• 12 No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in any examination, test or document verification.
• 13 The University reserves the right to increase, decrease or withdraw any post at any stage, as reiterated in Corrigendum-I.
