- of 5 years to PwBD candidates belonging to SC category and 3 years to PwBD-OBC(NCL) candidates will be allowed for reserved positions for respective SC/OBC(NCL).
- PwBD candidate availing of only age relaxation (no relaxation in eligibility qualification marks) shall be considered against unreserved seat in order of merit in the select list before being considered against a reserved seat.
- Reservation for PwBD categories to be engaged as Apprentices shall be in consistence with Section 34(1) of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
- Reservation in PwBD category will be extended on horizontal basis, against notified numbers of seats in identified Trade/Disciplines.
- Minimum prescribed qualification marks will be relaxed by 5% for candidates belonging to SC/PwBD categories considered against reserved positions.
- person with a specified disability listed in the Schedule appended to the Act but not covered under Section 34(1), if certified by a certifying officer as a person with disability of 40% or above, shall be allowed concessions/ relaxations available to PwBDs.
- They shall be declared successful, if selected on merit against unreserved seats.
- Their candidature will not be considered/adjusted against reservation provided to PwBDs under Section 34(1) of the Act of 2016.
Selection Process
There is no written test for this recruitment. Selection is based on percentage of marks (aggregate of all subjects across all years/semesters) obtained in the prescribed qualification, arranged in descending order, subject to meeting the notified eligibility criteria. Preference is given to candidates applying for apprenticeship training for the first time. In case of a tie in marks, the candidate senior in age (date of birth) is ranked higher; if the date of birth is also the same, higher marks in Matriculation are considered. PwBD candidates who avail relaxation in eligibility qualification marks are considered against reserved seats in order of merit within the category, irrespective of their position in the overall select list. Filling of seats is solely at the discretion of management based on candidate suitability; no claim arises if seats remain unfilled due to insufficient suitable candidates. - 1 For Codes 101, 102, 108, 109, 110 and 111: Register on the NAPS portal at https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/. Select "Apprenticeship Opportunities," search by location "IOCL, Panipat Refinery & Petrochemical Complex," and select the respective trade, then complete registration and login. For Codes 104, 105, 106 and 107:
- 2 Register on the NATS portal / Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) at https://nats.education.gov.in. After registration, apply to the IOCL Panipat Refinery & Petrochemical Complex advertisement from the dashboard.
