  • Deputy Secretary (General-Admin.) and Assistant Editor: Selection is based purely on performance in the interview (no written test specified).
  • Level-6 posts (Senior Library & Information Assistant, Junior Translation Officer, Technical Assistant, Programme Assistant, Publication Assistant): Written test of 100 marks - Part-I objective (50 marks: 30 questions GS/GK + 5 each from Hindi, English, Computer, Quantitative Aptitude; 1 mark per correct answer, no negative marking) and Part-II descriptive (50 marks, post-specific - e.g. Library Science, Translation, Publication/Printing). Duration: 2 hours.
  • Level-4 posts (Proof Reader Cum General Assistant, Stenographer Gr. II): Same 100-mark, 2-part written test structure as Level-6 posts, with post-specific Part-II content (Editing/Proof Reading, or Essay/Letter/Comprehension for Stenographer). Stenographer Gr. II candidates are additionally shortlisted for a qualifying skill test (80 w.p.m. shorthand + typing speed).
  • Level-1 and Level-2 posts (Messenger Cum Rider, Van Driver, Junior Clerk, Multi-Tasking Staff): Written test of 100 marks - Part-I objective (60 marks: 40 GS/GK + 5 each from Hindi Grammar, English Grammar, Computer, Quantitative Aptitude; no negative marking) and Part-II descriptive (40 marks: Essay, Letter, English Comprehension, Notice/Advertisement, 10 marks each). Duration: 2 hours.
