- For Degree Holder: B.Sc Nursing (4-Year) or B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) (2-Year) from an INC/State Council-recognized University/Institute + Registered as a Nurse & Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council.
- For Diploma Holder: Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an INC-recognized Board/Council + Registered as Nurse & Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council + 2 years’ experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after completing the diploma.

Age Limit
- must obtain the caste certificate/reservation related certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format in Appendix-1 to 5 of this detailed advertisement and should be available on the relevant website for online verification, issued by the last date of application.
- For SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates, the caste certificate should be issued by the competent authority in the format prescribed by the U.P.
- Government.
- EWS candidates must have a certificate issued by the competent authority.
- If any candidate fails to present a valid EWS certificate, he/she will be considered a General (UR) category candidate.
- Only permanent residents (Domicile) of Uttar Pradesh will be eligible to apply for reserved posts (both horizontal and vertical reservation).
- Reservation: o The OBC & EWS certificate must have been issued on or after 1 st April 2026 and must be valid on the last date of submission of the online application.
- o Reservation for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes of citizens shall be permissible in accordance with the Act-1994 (as amended), the Uttar Pradesh Public Services (Reservation for Economically Weaker Sections) Act-2020, and the Uttar Pradesh Public Services (Reservation for Physically Handicapped, Dependents of Freedom Fighters, and Ex-Servicemen) Act, 1993 (as amended).
