Selection Process
Group A Posts: Online Computer Based Test (CBT) of 70 marks followed by an Interview of 30 marks.
Interview shortlisting ratio: 1:5 for 1 vacancy, 1:4 for 2 vacancies, 1:3 for 3 and above vacancies.
Group B & C Posts: Selection is based only on the online CBT examination of 100 marks, followed by a qualifying Skill Test wherever applicable (LDC, Stenographer Grade-III, Staff Car Driver).
The CBT will be bilingual (English and Hindi) except MTS, which has no negative marking.

There is 0.25 negative marking per wrong answer for all other posts.
Minimum qualifying marks in CBT: 25% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates and 30% for all other categories (UR, OBC, EWS, ESM).
Skill Test for Stenographer Grade-III: dictation at 80 wpm for 10 minutes (English/Hindi), transcribed on computer; qualifying in nature.
Skill Test for LDC: typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer; qualifying in nature.

Translation Skill Test for Hindi Assistant: descriptive translation examination of 800-1000 words in English and Hindi.
Driving Test for Staff Car Driver: qualifying in nature, as per Competent Authority procedures.
CBT duration: 100 minutes for all candidates (130 minutes for PwBD candidates with compensatory time), for both Group A and Group B/C posts.

How to Apply
- 1 Only online applications through the official CCRUM website will be accepted; applications sent by post, e-mail, or any other mode will be rejected.
- 2 Candidates should apply well before the closing date to avoid last-minute website load issues.
- 3 Candidates can apply for more than one post, but must submit separate applications with separate fees for each post.
- 4 Once an application is submitted, no edits are allowed except through the paid Modification Window (3-5 August 2026).
- 5 Admit cards will be hosted only on the registration portal and will not be sent by post or e-mail.
- 6 Calculators, mobile phones, smartwatches, and other electronic/communication devices are strictly banned inside the examination hall.
- 7 Candidates must carry a valid photo ID and admit card to the examination centre; biometric data will be captured at the test centre.
- 8 Test centres are located in New Delhi/Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Guwahati; CCRUM reserves the right to add/remove/change centres.
- 9 The posts carry All India transfer liability, and candidates must be willing to serve at any peripheral Institute/Centre of CCRUM.
- 10 Selection is purely provisional, subject to verification of eligibility, documents, and character/antecedents.
Preparation Tips
- Study the CBT syllabus thoroughly; note that Group A posts require 70-mark CBT plus 30-mark interview with 1:3 to 1:5 shortlisting ratio.
- Practice skill tests if applying for Stenographer, LDC, or Staff Car Driver roles; these are qualifying in nature and mandatory.
