SC/ST: 5 years; OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years; PwBD: 10 years (whether reserved or not); PwBD (OBC): 13 years; PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years; Ex-servicemen: 5 years. Cumulative relaxation applies for candidates covered under more than one category.

Salary

Pay scale: Rs. 62,500-3600(4)-76,900-4050(7)-1,05,250-EB-4050(4)-1,21,450-4650(1)-1,26,100 (17 years). Gross emoluments include NPS contribution and Grade/Special/Special Grade/Dearness/Local/Family/Special Compensatory/Learning/Housing Allowances, plus Leave Fare Concession, medical reimbursement, Personal Accident Insurance, Children Education Allowance, Knowledge Updation Allowance, conveyance, House Cleaning Allowance and a Pluxee Meal Card.

Selection Process (three phases)

• Phase I - Online Screening: Paper 1 (English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Awareness - common to all streams, 90 questions/60 min) + Paper 2 (stream-specific, 50 questions/40 min). 1/4 negative marking; used only for Phase II shortlisting, not counted in final selection.
• Phase II - Online Examination: Paper 1 descriptive English (3 questions, 100 marks, 60 min, 1/3rd weightage) + Paper 2 stream-specific objective (50 questions, 100 marks, 40 min, 2/3rd weightage, 1/4 negative marking). Candidates equal to 5x vacancies shortlisted for Phase III.
• Phase III - Interview (can be attended in Hindi or English).
• Final merit: Phase II marks (85%) + Phase III marks (15%). Phase I marks not counted.

How to Apply

1. Visit www.pfrda.org.in and open the "Careers" section.
2. Open the notification titled "PFRDA Recruitment Exercise - Recruitment of Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) - 2026" and click "Apply Online".
3. Choose "Click Here for New Registration" and enter name, contact details and email to generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password.
4. Fill the application form, using "Save and Next" to save progress.
5. Upload photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration as specified.
6. Use the Preview tab to verify all entries, then click "Complete Registration" (no changes allowed after this).
7. Click "Payment" and pay the applicable fee online.
8. Click "Submit" and save/print the application form and e-receipt.

Documents Required

• Scanned passport-size colour photograph (4.5cm x 3.5cm; 200x230 pixels; 20-50kb)
• Scanned signature (140x60 pixels; 10-20kb)
• Scanned left thumb impression (or right thumb if left unavailable)
• Handwritten declaration in English, scanned as specified (20-50kb)
• Valid personal email ID and mobile number
• Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwBD/Ex-servicemen), issued on or after 01.04.2026, where claimed
• Currently valid photo ID proof (PAN, Passport, Driving License, Voter's Card, Aadhaar/E-Aadhaar) - Ration Card and Learner's License not valid

Important Instructions

• Candidates can apply for a maximum of 2 streams only, with a separate application and fee for each.
• No change/correction in application particulars (including category) once submitted.
• Selected candidates liable to be posted to any PFRDA department in New Delhi or Mumbai, and to serve anywhere in India.
• Two-year probation period for successful candidates.
• Candidates already employed in Govt./Quasi-Govt./PSU banks must produce a No Objection Certificate at interview.
• Outstation interview candidates reimbursed single AC Three Tier return railway fare by shortest route, with documentary evidence.
• Only one appearance per post allowed in the online examination; multiple appearances lead to cancellation.
• Canvassing in any form disqualifies the candidate.
