PET is qualifying. Failing a single event ends your candidature, so train for every event, not only the run.PET सिर्फ़ क्वालिफाइंग है। एक भी इवेंट में फेल हुए तो आप बाहर, इसलिए सिर्फ़ दौड़ नहीं, हर इवेंट की प्रैक्टिस करें।
- The medical examination checks eyesight and general fitness against the standards printed in the notification. Read that section early, especially if you wear glasses.मेडिकल एग्ज़ाम में आंखों और पूरी फिटनेस की जांच नोटिफिकेशन में छपे मानकों के हिसाब से होती है। अगर आप चश्मा लगाते हैं तो यह हिस्सा पहले ही ध्यान से पढ़ लें।

Exam Pattern and Syllabusपरीक्षा पैटर्न और सिलेबस
Two computer-based papers decide your rank. Both papers deduct 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.कंप्यूटर पर होने वाले दो पेपर आपकी रैंक तय करते हैं। दोनों में हर गलत जवाब पर 0.25 नंबर कटते हैं।

CAPF officers living in government accommodation do not get HRA, but may get force-specific allowances such as Risk and Hardship Allowance depending on the posting, which are not included here. In the CAPFs, Inspectors can rise to Assistant Commandant, a gazetted Group A rank, through departmental promotion.
