Grade D stenographers move up to Grade C through seniority or a departmental exam, depending on the cadre. In the Central Secretariat Stenographers' Service, Grade C stenographers can rise to Private Secretary, then Principal Private Secretary and Senior Principal Private Secretary to senior officers.सेंट्रल सेक्रेटेरियट स्टेनोग्राफर्स सर्विस में ग्रेड C स्टेनोग्राफर आगे चलकर प्राइवेट सेक्रेटरी, फिर प्रिंसिपल प्राइवेट सेक्रेटरी और सीनियर प्रिंसिपल प्राइवेट सेक्रेटरी बन सकते हैं।

MACP safety netMACP का सहारा
If you are not promoted for 10 years, the MACP scheme moves you to the next pay level anyway. It applies again at 20 and 30 years of service.अगर 10 साल तक प्रमोशन नहीं मिला, तो MACP स्कीम के तहत आपको अगला पे लेवल अपने आप मिल जाता है। यही फायदा 20 और 30 साल की सर्विस पर फिर मिलता है।
